How Can severe Hand Pain Be Treated?

I have bad hand pain. If I put them in ice water or hot water it feels good. My hands throb. They feel swollen but they re not. I can t grip or hold things tight. My Dr did blood work to look for arthritis but there was none. Right now I don t take any medication so it s not meds. My neck hurts bad also. Idk if it s combined or coincidence.

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
He should be investigated with X ray/ MRI - to detect nerve pinching at cervical spine / neck region.Specific treatment( medicines, steroid injection, physiotherapy or surgery ) for the cause found would relieve you.
Please consult an orthopedic surgeon .
